My name is Kaylyn Wilke.  I grew up in Ann Arbor, Mi before attending Michigan State University where I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education.  From there, I moved to Chicago where I student taught for a full year in a first-grade classroom.  I then took a full-time teaching position in a kindergarten classroom within the Chicago Public Schools district.  After four fun-filled years in Chicago, I decided to fulfill a lifelong dream and moved to Santa Monica, CA!  I am now teaching Kindergarten in the Los Angeles Public Schools district.  

 

In my free time, I love getting outside.  I often take walks or hikes around the Santa Monica area.  I try to play tennis every week.  I also love going to the beach and being in the ocean.  To relax, I like to read whenever I get a chance.  I also love to travel and try to plan one big trip every year during my time off in the summer!
